Epoxy & PU Flooring in Dubai

Precision Skills Contracting LLC provides epoxy and polyurethane (PU) flooring execution in Dubai within agreed commercial, refurbishment and specialist subcontract packages. We review the existing floor, intended use and selected system before defining preparation, repairs, coating build-up and handover. Resin flooring is a complete system with substrate and application requirements; colour and area alone are not enough to select a suitable finish.

Our service scope

Start below the finish.

A sound floor-coating package coordinates substrate preparation, the specified resin system and the way the space will be used. We help define the execution interfaces so omitted repairs or access restrictions do not become surprises on site.

Epoxy floor coatings

Specified epoxy primers, build coats and finishes for suitable concrete or screed substrates. Confirm the intended traffic, cleaning regime, appearance and exposure before selecting the system.

Polyurethane flooring

PU flooring and coating packages to the selected specification. Required flexibility, wear resistance, exposure and return-to-service conditions determine the system; not every PU product has the same performance.

Mechanical preparation and repairs

Define removal of existing finishes, grinding or other specified preparation, local repairs and dust removal. Weak, contaminated or unsuitable surfaces must be addressed before applying a coating.

Moisture and application conditions

Check substrate moisture and application conditions against the selected product requirements. Rising moisture, condensation or an incompatible substrate can require a different treatment or additional preparation.

Joints, coving and transitions

Include movement joints, terminations, door thresholds, coving, drain interfaces and line marking where specified. A continuous-looking finish does not remove the need for designed joints.

Texture, protection and handover

Agree the texture, colour sample, cleaning requirements and protection of completed areas. Slip resistance and chemical resistance depend on the selected system and actual service conditions.

Before pricing the work

Define the condition and the complete package.

For a Dubai flooring enquiry, identify the property use, approximate area, current substrate, old coating, visible cracks and required finish. Include vehicle or pedestrian traffic, wet cleaning, chemical exposure and any temperature-related service conditions. Screed or self-levelling preparation and the resin wearing surface should be identified separately in the proposal. Work in operating premises may need phased closures and temporary routes.

We work with direct property clients and defined business packages in Dubai. Our office is in Jebel Ali Industrial Area 1. Site location, building access, working hours and the appointed team’s responsibilities help us coordinate the next practical step.

From enquiry to handover

A clear scope your team can evaluate.

Agree responsibilities, materials, inspections and interfaces before execution. A measured proposal should describe the required result and the work needed to achieve it.

  1. 01
    Inspect the floor

Review substrate condition, previous coatings, repairs and available access. Identify information needed to confirm system suitability.

  2. 02
    Agree the build-up

Define preparation, repairs, primer, coating layers, texture, joints and acceptance requirements with the project team.

  3. 03
    Prepare and apply

Follow the selected manufacturer specification for mixing, application conditions, coat intervals and curing. Protect adjoining property and completed work.

  4. 04
    Release the area

Agree inspection and cleaning guidance. Pedestrian access, vehicle access and full service may have different release times under the specified system.

Planning your project

Questions before requesting a quotation.

Which is better: epoxy or polyurethane?

The intended use and specified performance determine the answer. Compare traffic, exposure, substrate condition, finish, cleaning and maintenance requirements with the proposed product system. We do not recommend a resin simply because it is described as stronger or thicker.

Can a coating be applied over the existing floor?

Existing finishes need to be checked for adhesion, contamination and compatibility. Removal or additional preparation may be needed. The selected coating manufacturer’s requirements and site condition determine the approach.

How soon can we use the floor?

Curing depends on the resin system, layer build-up and site conditions. The proposal should distinguish between light access, operational traffic and full service. A universal next-day opening promise would not be appropriate.

Does self-levelling replace epoxy flooring?

Usually they serve different purposes. A levelling layer prepares the floor profile; an epoxy or PU system provides the specified wearing finish. Some products have different intended uses, so the complete specification must be checked.
